Joris studied percussion at the LUCA school of Arts in Leuven. He played in all genres: pop, rock, classical music, big bands, punk, noise, ...

BANDS & PROJECTS

With his band JACLE BOW, signed by Warner Music, he released 2 albums (in 2017 & 2019). After a tour in the USA (2015), playing in a lot of venues (AB, Muziekodroom, Paradiso, ...), performing at different festivals (Rock Herk, Les Ardentes, Gladiolen, Brussels Summer Festival, ...) and singles on Belgian and Dutch radio (Studio Brussel, Radio 1, Q-music, 3FM, ...) they decided to take a break. God only knows if they will launch the big comeback tour.

ROZA PARKS is the new waviest postpunk band east of London and south of Brussels. They released a full album (2013) and 2 EP's (2017 & 2020). A new album is expected.

GEBURTSHELFER is a rare blend of raw noise and interstellar soundscapes. They will launch an album in 2024.

Joris also played freelance for Emmy d'Arc, The Lighthouse, and other artists/coverbands.

In the summer of 2025, Joris joined Jasper Steverlinck's band.

MUSIC

In his little homestudio in Ghent, Joris is writing music for new projects.

He wrote and recorded the soundtrack for the VTM Series 'TRIZOMBIE' (2024) together with Mario Goossens & Roel Vanbuel. 

In 2025 he wrote and recorded the soundtrack for 'Het verhaal van Vake', the first movie of Warre Schols.
